About me
Deianira
Trentini.
I am Dr. Deianira Trentini, osteopath, specialised in neonatal and paediatric osteopathy, osteopathic management of women during pregnancy and the post-partum period, women's health and sports osteopathy.
My experience as a competitive figure skater, combined with years spent teaching the discipline, helped consolidate my interest in movement, body function and osteopathy applied to sport and developmental age.
Education
After a five-year programme at ICOM Educational in Milan, I qualified as an Osteopath (D.O. BSc. Ost.) and subsequently obtained a Master of Science in Osteopathy, with specialisations in paediatric and sports osteopathy.
My training includes advanced courses in Kinesiotaping, cupping, pelvic floor rehabilitation, neuropsychomotor developmental disorders in children (FSC method), QMR technology in physiotherapy, as well as a Postgraduate in osteopathic treatment during pregnancy at the London School of Osteopathy. I have participated in the Quantum Global: Vagus and Bonding in Paediatrics and Neonatology (COME Collaboration) and I am a Mindfulness Facilitator (Mindfulness Educators Milan).
I am currently completing the final year of my degree in Physiotherapy, with the aim of further integrating osteopathic and rehabilitative competencies into daily clinical practice.
Professional registrations
I am registered with the ROI — Italian Osteopaths Register and the CPCM — Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine in Malta. Osteopathy is a regulated healthcare profession in Italy under DPR n.131/2021.
My approach
I work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals, promoting multidisciplinary collaboration that is fundamental in neonatal, paediatric and women's health settings.
My approach is based on a global vision of health: each person is assessed in their uniqueness, with treatment adapted to the patient's specific needs. The goal is to help the body restore balance, function and freedom of movement.
